Norshield VBS’s NOR60 is on the cutting edge of innovative vehicle barrier systems. The NOR60 Soft Stop has two very unique features that solve difficult perimeter security dilemmas. First, it is designed to span perimeters that range as high as 200-400’. Other active barriers can not span lengths even close to this long. Second, the barrier is a relatively soft stop. While it is not a completely safe “catch” system, the barrier is not an abrupt stop like K-Rated (Department of State Crash Rating) barriers.
