Norshield VBS’s NOR82 optimizes the power and strength of a shallow foundation wedge. Norshield wedge barriers are tested and certified by the Department of State for a K12 rating, capable of stopping a 15,000 lbs vehicle traveling at a speed of 50 mph. The NOR82 provides the highest level of security within a refined design. Upon impact, forces shall be first absorbed by steel weldment and then transmitted to foundation of the unit creating the most protective barrier available.
